Wiz Khalifa Quit Drinking. The Weed Stayed.

Wiz Khalifa has quit alcohol, taken his training seriously and kept cannabis in his routine. Snoop Dogg noticed the muscle long ago.

Snoop Dogg knew Wiz Khalifa as the skinny guy from their tours. Then Wiz started getting bigger. Quite a bit bigger, apparently. Snoop told Joe Rogan back in 2021 that seeing the difference convinced him to get a gym membership of his own. Wiz had been putting in the hours. Muay Thai, jiu-jitsu, weight training. Not quite the picture you'd expect from somebody who's made a career out of rapping about weed.

Now 38, Wiz has stopped drinking alcohol. He told High Times that even a couple of sluggish hours the following morning weren't worth it anymore. There's music to make, children to look after and training to get through. Cannabis, though? He still smokes daily. He says it fits into his routine, although that's his own experience rather than a promise about what weed does for everybody.

Khalifa Kush has also reached its tenth birthday. Wiz is enormously proud of the brand and doesn't exactly suffer from modesty when discussing the quality. He's particular about his joints, too. Different filters, glass tips, the way the paper burns. He prefers rolling them himself because he wants control over the whole thing. The guy can spend hours practising his fighting technique and still have strong opinions about rolling paper. Snoop probably knows better than to challenge him to either contest.
