The Death Row logo used to mean rap records. Dr. Dre, 2Pac, Snoop Dogg. You know the names. These days you can find that logo on cannabis products too. Snoop bought the label in 2022 and started Death Row Cannabis the following year. And there's an Amsterdam connection. This April, Death Row and Sensi Seeds brought five cannabis strains to the US market.
They're called B-Funk, Dough Boy, Studio Candy, Caramel Pineapple and Cereal Killa. Sounds like somebody found an old album tracklist. The strains were developed with AK, the head grower at Death Row Cannabis, and the team at Sensi Seeds. The collaboration was already available in Europe in 2025. On April 7, 2026, the seeds launched in the US for people who grow at home.
And that's only one side of Snoop's cannabis business. In May, Death Row Cannabis expanded into Nevada with products including vapes, gummies and pre-rolls. It's a long way from a label known for West Coast rap. Then again, nobody is surprised to see Snoop involved with weed. What makes this particular story interesting for Dutch readers is that some of those strains have roots in Amsterdam.
