Rotterdam doesn't usually do fancy. It's a city that likes things straight to the point. And the latest coffeeshop price figures are pretty interesting. According to WeedIndex, the median listed price for cannabis flower is €11 per gram, while hash comes in at €9. That's two euros below the Dutch national hash median. Not a bad detail for visitors who enjoy exploring the traditional side of Dutch cannabis culture.
But hold on. Pre-rolled joints tell a different story. Rotterdam's median listed price is €6.50 each, compared with €5 nationally. Edibles also come in higher, at €10 versus €8.50. The figures are drawn from published menus at a selection of Rotterdam coffeeshops, so they don't cover every shop or every strain in town.
For international visitors, this is a useful reminder: there is no single Dutch coffeeshop price list. One shop might offer an affordable classic, while another focuses on premium genetics. And listed prices can change. Rotterdam may be famous for its no-nonsense attitude, but your wallet still appreciates a little research before you walk through the door.
